Greg Brower is President of GAB Consultancy and formerly Vice President of Sunclipse, Inc., the parent corporation for Kent H. Landsberg Company. Greg has worked as an international lecturer and consultant in the field of quality. He has worked closely with Dr. W. Edwards Deming and Philip Crosby, and has been personally authorized to instruct and consult on their behalf. Brower has had the unique experience of applying the key quality philosophies to the test of daily application both in his current role and as founder of the General Motors Quality Institute.
His broad-based perspective enables Brower to clarify the relationships between different quality ideas and approaches. At the same time, his background and orientation focus on the practical value of these ideas; that is, making them work for an organization. Brower has trained more than 10,000 executives in Crosby, Deming, and Ishikawa concepts. He is also numbered among the few Americans who have consulted to Japanese industry. Masaaki Imai’s latest book, GEMBA KAIZEN, highlights some of these contributions.
Brower holds a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University, a master’s degree in Management from Central Michigan University, a doctorate (abd) in Education from Western Michigan University, and a certification in Strategic Business Planning from the Wharton School of Business. He is a member of the American Society of Quality, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the American Society of Training and Development. Dr. Brower is also a member of American Mensa.
Brower holds copyrights for both audio and video training programs. He is co-author of The 3D Nature of Real Word Problems, Cash Machine and Don’t Send The Lone Ranger We Need The Whole Posse. As an adjunct member of the Central Michigan University, and the University of California at Berkley, he has been actively involved with the development of modern adult-education techniques, with emphasis on brevity and maximum impact. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for the National Continuing Education Council in Washington, DC, and the Advisory Board for International Approval Services, an ISO registrar.
With the rise of ISO 9001 as an International Quality Standard, Dr. Brower has successfully lead 400+ companies to certification, all within six months or less. He was the architect of Kent H. Landsberg’s feat of becoming the first Distribution Company in the United States to be certified to the ISO 9001 standard.
